2.1 Licensed Services
We are licensed under QBCC Licence Number 15535375 to provide:
- Plumbing Services: Construction, installation, replacement, repair, and maintenance of water supply and drainage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Drainage Services: Installation and maintenance of private sanitary drainage systems connecting plumbing fixtures to sewers or on-site sewerage facilities
- Gas Fitting Services: Gas fitting work in various settings as permitted under our licence
- Mechanical Services: Installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems in buildings
2.2 Service Limitations
We only perform work that falls within the scope of our QBCC licence. Any work outside this scope will be declined or referred to appropriately licensed contractors.
2.3 Emergency Services
Emergency services are available and may incur additional fees above standard rates. Emergency service fees will be clearly communicated before work commences.
3. Pricing and Payment Terms
3.1 Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Prices may be subject to change if project scope varies from the original quote
- Additional work discovered during the project will be quoted separately and requires approval before proceeding
3.2 Payment Structure
- Deposit: 50% of the total project cost is required as a deposit
- Final Payment: Remaining 50% is due upon completion of work
- Emergency Services: Payment may be required on the day of service for emergency call-outs
3.3 Payment Methods
We accept various payment methods including cash, bank transfer, and credit card payments through our secure payment processors.
3.4 Late Payments
Overdue accounts may incur interest charges and additional collection costs. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts in arrears.
4. Warranties and Guarantees
4.1 Labour Warranty
We provide a lifetime labour warranty on all workmanship. This warranty covers defects in our installation and repair work but does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse or negligence
- Damage from external factors beyond our control
- Parts and materials (covered by manufacturer warranties)
4.2 Material Warranties
Materials and parts are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist with warranty claims where reasonable.
4.3 Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, contact us promptly with details of the issue. We will assess and rectify legitimate warranty claims at no charge.
5. Liability and Insurance
5.1 Insurance Coverage
Plaza Works maintains appropriate public liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance as required by Queensland law.
5.2 Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages

- Damage to property not directly related to our work
- Pre-existing conditions or damage not caused by our services

- Providing safe and reasonable access to work areas
- Disclosing known hazards or pre-existing issues
- Ensuring pets are secured during service visits

6. Booking and Cancellation

6.2 Cancellation Policy
- 24+ Hours Notice: Full refund of any deposits (less processing fees)
- Less than 24 Hours: 50% cancellation fee may apply
- Emergency Services: Different cancellation terms may apply
