What a kitchen renovation involves
A kitchen touches more trades than almost any other room. Cabinetry, benchtop, splashback, plumbing, electrical, plastering, painting and flooring all have to land in the right order. We plan the sequence, book the trades, and carry the coordination ourselves.

What a kitchen costs
Kitchen prices move a long way depending on the size of the run and the finish level, so we publish bands rather than one number. All figures inc GST.

A medium mid-range kitchen typically lands around $19,000. The bands are wide because the market's own bands are wide: the low end is the cheapest plausible version of the job and the high end the dearest. Your quote is a fixed figure, not a band.
Choosing a finish level
Budget
Laminate doors and benchtop, tiled splashback, standard hardware. A big lift on a tired kitchen without a big spend.
Mid
Better door finishes, a stone or reconstituted benchtop, soft-close hardware. Where most of our kitchens land.
Premium
Custom cabinetry, porcelain or natural stone with waterfall ends and mitred edges, glass splashback.
A note on engineered stone
Engineered stone benchtops were banned in Australia from 1 July 2024 because of the silicosis risk to the people who cut them. We fit porcelain, natural stone, or reconstituted products that comply. If you have been quoted engineered stone by someone else, that is worth a second look.
Common questions
Usually two to three weeks from strip-out to working kitchen, with the benchtop template and fabrication being the part that sets the timeline. We give you the dates with your quote.
Yes, and most people do. We install and connect them. If you would rather we supplied them, we can price that too.
Often yes. If it is load bearing it needs engineering and a beam, which we price as its own line. We work out which it is before quoting.
The plumbing is ours. Electrical is done by our licensed electrician as part of the same job, so it is still one contract and one point of contact.
That is normal. The lineal metre bands above are a guide for pricing. Your quote is built from the actual measurements after a site visit.
