PC Items Buying Guide

Tile Quantities
Our tiler will provide exact quantity calculations after the strip-out stage when final measurements are taken. As a rough guide, here are typical tile quantities:
Floor Tiles
- Small bathroom 4-6 m²
- Medium bathroom 6-10 m²
- Large bathroom 10-15 m²
Wall Tiles
- Shower only 8-12 m²
- Half-height walls 10-15 m²
- Full bathroom walls 15-25 m²
⚠️ Order Extra Tiles
Always order 10-15% more tiles than the calculated quantity. This accounts for cuts, wastage, breakages, and gives you spares for future repairs. Running short mid-project can cause delays if tiles are out of stock.
Delivery Timeline
Getting your PC items delivered on time is critical to keeping your project on schedule.
Check availability of your chosen tiles and fixtures. Some items have long lead times, especially imported products.
Place orders for all PC items. Allow time for delivery, especially for tiles which may come from warehouse.
All tiles, grout, and trims must be on site before tiling begins. No tiles = no tiling = project delay.
All fixtures, tapware, and accessories must be on site before the final fit-off stage begins.
⚠️ Delays Cost Time
If your PC items are not on site when needed, we cannot proceed with that stage of work. The project timeline will shift, and we may need to move to other jobs while waiting. Please order early and confirm delivery dates.
Tips for Choosing
🎨 Coordinate Your Finishes
Choose a finish family (chrome, matte black, brushed nickel) and stick to it across all tapware, accessories, and hardware. Mixing finishes can look uncoordinated.
📐 Check Dimensions
Measure your space carefully. Make sure your vanity fits the allocated space, and check that door swings and drawer pulls will not hit walls or other fixtures.
🔌 Confirm Electrical Compatibility
If you are supplying electrical items like exhaust fans or heated towel rails, check they are compatible with Australian standards and your existing wiring.
📦 Keep Packaging
Do not dispose of packaging until items are installed and inspected. You may need it for warranty claims or returns if items are damaged or incorrect.
